Discovery Park and the Romance of Wild Spaces

Discovery Park is a well kept secret, for despite it’s immense size, you can often hike  it’s trails with hardly a soul in sight.  However, for  all it’s old growth trees, western sound vistas and waist high wheat,  it is not always an easy pick for a portrait.  That is because you have to commit to Discovery, walk far along it’s bunny trails to all the best spots, and realize that the hiking boots you retired for better weather would like to come back out and play.  Serena and Mark spend alot of time here with their favorite furry friend. He in turn has many friends in the form of the Discovery Park Bunny Brigade.  This pup leaps and jumps like the rabbits he adores, and really stole the show of our Solstice weekend portrait.  Still, despite his adorable clowning we got a few photos of his mama and papa alone, especially near the lighthouse at the end of a spectacular summer night.  Next time you feel the need to swap city for county, Discovery is the answer for you.
