Rick and Marc's Big Gay Wedding in Seattle, Wa was meant to be the prom they never had, and the sheer force of their excitement was like a wave that all attending got to surf along with them.

Disco met solid gold amongst the celebrants. Go go boots, sequins, and yards of shiny fabrics were the rule of the day, and a surprise flash mob of professional dancers whupped it up with the guests during the reception. The party went on late into the night, and I was humming Abba for days after.

Rick gave a speech during the reception that brought the house down. He shared his dream of one day dancing with the man he loved in front of everyone he cared about it. Tears were everywhere. 

One of the things I love best about weddings is capturing the family dynamics that abound. Rick's grown kids were a big part of the day, and seeing their joy during the ceremony for their dad and Marc was truly timeless.
